Showcasing five new solutions
Impikas’s industrial approach has to do with conviction, innovation, reactivity, solid market knowledge and focus on customer. In its 450 sq. meter stand at drupa 2012 the company will showcase five new solutions which enable clients to print their difference.
In order to meet the new needs of a market evolving towards colour and digital printing, Impika has expanded its line of iPrint continuous feed printers with three new models. In one single machine, just tree and a half meter long, the iPrint Compact incorporates the best of inkjet technology enabling monochrome or colour duplex printing in 2 UP mode, from 40 to 127 m/min and in three resolutions (1200, 600 and 360 dpi). This printer meets the needs of transactional, transpromo, direct marketing and publishing applications and is available at a highly competitive price.
Unique solution on the market, the iPrint E-Volution features Impika´s flexible technologies, combining scalability with durability. This printer accompanies each client as their needs evolve, with regards to configuration, speed (up to 254 m/min) and printing quality (up to 1200 dpi), as well as offering a brand new 4-level 600 dpi printing mode. With a highly competitive cost per page, this printer is suitable for direct marketing, transpromo, transactional, newspaper and book publishing.
As its name suggests, the iPrint E-Xtreme, with its 711 mm print width, 375 m/min color printing speed and a printing resolution up to 2400 dpi, combines the highest performances in inkjet with Impika’s flexibility signature. Two years after its launch at Ipex 2010, the compact, scalable and user-friendly iEngine 1000 print engine continues to lure the industry. Impika now unveils a new version which doubles the print width.
The iEngine 1000L prints on a width of 220 mm (8.66 inches) at speeds up to 300 m/min in color and 600 m/min in monochrome. The system is autonomous and can be integrated into existing print or press equipment as well as in new equipments looking for a highly effective and reliable inkjet solution.
An acute observation of market trends has lead Impika to design a new printing solution which fills the product gap between page production color copiers and continuous feed industrial printers. This web to sheet solution prints A4 and letter formats in duplex color up to 160 ppm with a very high quality (equivalent to more than 1200 dpi). The Genesis solution constitutes a different market approach which foretells the arrival of a new range of printing solutions. Impika will disclose the Genesis concept at drupa and collect valuable feedback from potential users.
