Alphasonics sells first Melanie Trio

Ultrasonic cleaning system specialist Alphasonics has sold its first Melanie Trio system to Chroma Print of India. The Melanie Trio was launched at drupa (Hall 6, stand C62). It is an addition to the Melanie range of benchtop cleaning units and comprises anilox and flexo plate cleaning stations, and a rinse tank.
Chroma Print bought the system via Royal Coat, Alphasonics’ specialist narrow web partner in India. Alphasonics managing director David Jones said the company was “delighted” to secure the first order for the Trio system at drupa.
UK manufacturer Alphasonics also unveiled its new Betasound cleaning technology at drupa, targeted at printers using HD flexo. The company also supplies cleaning systems for offset, gravure and digital printing.
