ARETS GRAPHICS JOINS INTERNATIONAL LED UV ASSOCIATION

DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY – ARETS GRAPHICS N.V., the largest continental European-based manufacturer dedicated exclusively to energy curable inks, coatings and varnishes, announced today that it has become the latest company to join the International LED UV Association dedicated to UV LED development in the graphic arts industry (www.leduv.org).

The International LED UV Association, also known as ILUVA, was first organized in September 2011 at the International Graphic Arts Show (IGAS) in Japan, to recognize the efforts of numerous Japanese printers adopting eco-friendly UV LED curing systems, and to serve as an online resource and directory for the growing community of suppliers ready to support the process.

UV LED curing technology provides significant benefits to both digital and traditional printing processes in the form of instant, on demand VOC-free drying at very low energy consumption, and without the heat and related maintenance and environmental challenges of mercury-based UV lamp systems.
