Buhrs introduces new Buhrs 5000 paper wrapping system at Drupa

Buhrs, a leading international manufacturer of mailing and fulfillment solutions, announces the launch of a new developed paper wrapping system: the Buhrs 5000. 'Paper wrapping is not new; our approach and the way it is done on this new system is." says Ruud Oud, Buhrs’ Sales & Marketing Manager. "The vast knowledge and experience at Buhrs with high-quality poly and paper wrapping is evidenced in our latest system. In collaboration with one of our biggest customers, the Buhrs 5000 has been engineered and tested to the highest specifications. Within the new Buhrs 5000 wrapping and inkjetting are combined inline. The inkjet options range from monochrome addressing to fully personalized variable data and images printing in full color; all at a speed of up to 30.000 packages per hour. These new developments address the growing demand for paper wrapping. Originally, paper wrapping was seen as an ecological equivalent of poly wrapping, however, it is now increasingly seen as a replacement for the traditional envelope, especially in the high volume mail segment for Direct Mail, Transactional and Transpromotional mail. The new system also has the ability to produce inline self-mailers with inserts. The Buhrs 5000 will be demonstrated at drupa in Hall 14 at stand number D41.
