OVD Kinegram, a company based in Switzerland, is a member of the KURZ Group which is headquartered in Germany. Within the KURZ organisation, OVD Kinegram is the competence centre for the governmental ID document market. The corporate mission is to turn foreseeable market needs and future technology options into customer solutions. The group’s experience in the field of securing governmental documents dates back to the early 80‘s, with a first success in 1986, when an ID-document - the Saudi Arabian Passport - was protected with a KINEGRAM®. Today, the KINEGRAM® is used to secure a wide range of governmental documents in countries all over the world.
OVD Kinegram has accumulated over 20 years of experience in protecting documents against counterfeiting and fraud. This experience has been complemented by maintaining close contacts with police forces, customs authorities and internationally-reputed security specialists.
Whatever document protection needs may be, OVD Kinegram offers a full range of services, including consulting, design, engineering, in-house production of security foils, application machines and after-sales service.
OVD Kinegram is a member of the ICC Counterfeiting Intelligence Bureau and is certified according to ISO 9001 for its quality management system, as well as according both CWA 15374:2005 and CWA 14641:2006 for its security management system.
