BLUEPRINT MOVES ON ETI TECHNOLOGY FOR THE DIRECT THERMAL LABELS AND TELROL BOUGHT TWO COHESIO!

Boucherville, January, 30th, 2012 - ETI Converting has recently sold three ETI Cohesio machines in Europe.
One machine has just been installed at Blueprint, a family owned company established in Bernate, Italy, who will produce direct thermal labels for its customers in the retail industry.
With this equipment, Blueprint will be able to apply the thermal coating, print, apply the silicone and the glue, die-cut and finish the label all in-line with a non-stop turret rewinder.
This new vertically integrated approach to produce direct thermal labels in-house will change the reality and will allow printers to recover margins on the commodity market.
On the other hand, Telrol, known for its production of high-quality pressure-sensitive labels in Netherlands, bought two ETI Cohesio for its new company Jac-Stick BV. This new production plant has 11 000 m² and is also based in Almere. The first machine will be installed this month, while the second will be delivered in July 2012. The equipments will be used to serve the global supply and retail markets. Telrol is part of The Labelmakers Group, in Netherlands, which includes the following companies: Peha Labels, BioLabel, HACCP Labels, Jac-Stick and Labelpoint.

FIRST ETI MINILINER™ MACHINE SOLD TO A US CONVERTER

Boucherville, January 19th, 2012 – ETI Converting Equipement has sold the first Cohesio equipped with Miniliner™ option to an important US converter in New England.
This equipment is able to process a 12 microns liner with silicone and glue application, lamination with a face stock, then rotary die-cut, all in one step. This converting line can run pre-printed or blanked face stock at speeds of 500 feet/minute (150m/min.).
According to Francois Bayzelon, ETI CEO, the Miniliner™ and the Liner Less technologies, recently launched at Labelexpo Brussels, will move the label industry towards sustainability.
Since the last three months, ETI sales are more and more oriented to these two new technologies, representing a big cost savings for label printers.

ETI CONVERTING LAUNCHES THE 1st INDUSTRIAL LINER LESS APPLICATOR FOR ANY SHAPE OF LABELS

Boucherville, November 16th, 2011 – The first industrial liner less applicator will be installed at an important household product manufacturer in Montreal, Canada. This allows a significant change in the conception of the liner less labelling.
Up until now, this economical and ecological way to make labels was marginal because label printers were limited to square or rectangular label shapes and to the tie points.
This new labelling method does not bring limits to the shape of labels nor to their application speed.
This process allows big label users to access the liner less mode without any marketing compromise and without major modifications of their production lines.
A dozen of brand owners are already interested in this process.
Many label printers around the world are ready to take up the liner less challenge with the ETI COHESIO technology.
