Ctp Optotec is an independent manufacturer of ingenious and compact made External Drum Computer to Plate systems as well as compatible Pre Press Workflow Solutions. Both innovations are sold under the registered trademark, respectively “One” and “One Workflow”.

External Drum Technology for Thermal, Violet and UV Laser applications guarantees the state of the art of the imaging quality.

Masterminded Laser Technologies

Contrary to commonly known laser sources, “One” is proudly equipped with patented innovations exceeding any imagination.

The compact ILH – THERMAL operates with diodes through a monolithic single mode array system which result to an effective output of 80 % of the emitted power with a resolution of 2540 dpi. Even Process less plates can be sucussesfull be processed, as a standard.

A new generation ILH – VIOLET 65 mW features innovative single violet laser diode with 2400 dpi resolution.

The ILH – UV with a 355 nm spectrum is expected to be a cost effective Laser capable to image almost all conventional printing plates.

One universal and compact frame can install a 2, 4 or an 8 up external drum unit. The mechanical as well as electronic components are intelligently engineered & manufactured to the highest quality ISO standards and compatible with each respective laser technology.

Upgrade from Manual via Semi-Manual to Full automatic

“One” is available in manual, semi automatic or full automatic version. However, investments can be spread according to the growth of the company. Starting with a manual and upgrade – on site - to a full automatic system can be realized anytime within days.

Change from Thermal to UV technology ……or turn it around…..

Each respective Laser Head is Interchangeable with another, as well as each Interchangeable Drum Unit can be replaced or upgraded to either size, e.g. 2, 4 or 8 up pages, all can be realized on-site.

Web remote control and on line support:

A powerful “Portal” supports all Ctp Optotec activities. It monitors and controls all Ctp platesetters as well as Workflow units via an internet web connection. With a universal electronic architecture, “One” has a complete remote control system and is compatible with whichever workflow a printer may use. A dedicated and experienced service department guarantees after-sales services through either remote control or assistance on-site.

“One Workflow” is compatible and can be integrated with most current technologies. We opt for understandable and upgradeable solutions covering almost all applications.

Our technology is simple, friendly and understandable for anyone. With the Sharing Knowledge program the dealers will be trained and instructed at our premises in Italy.
