VITS International is proud to introduce the Sprint Batcher/Stacker and Sprint Digital Cutter. Both are designed to be used inline with any digital web press.
The Sprint Batcher/Stacker allows for the inline batching and stacking of finished product. It has a sub-3 second cycle time and with the addition of a vision system can automatically sort direct mail according to zip code data, all on press, eliminating costly manual sorting.
The Sprint Digital Cutter is an industry first. The cutter incorporates cam following drive technology that allows for variable cut sizes without the need to change a cylinder or cartridge. “This is a real advancement in digital variable cutting technology “, says John Salamone, Director of New Product Development. “What we have been able to do is eliminate the cost of purchasing additional cartridges and the cost of a lengthy make-ready by incorporating new technology. Now all the operator has to do is input cut sizes into a touch screen and the software does the rest. It’s that easy!” The new cam following technology is incorporated on all VITS International digital components.
The Sprint line of digital equipment is designed to be used inline with the press, eliminating the extra costs, time and damage of processing digital work offline.

VITS International Has Multicut Sheeter Running at Drupa

VITS International will have the Multicut sheeter in operation at the TKS stand, Hall 15 B55. The Multicut will be on the new TKS JETLEADER 1500 digital press.
The Multicut sheeter is the most versatile sheeter in the world; running paper, pharmaceutical stock, board, wax paper and film. The Multicut has built its reputation as a sheeter that consistently outperforms expectations and obligations. Available widths are 508mm – 1651mm and cut lengths of 152mm – 1651mm.

VITS America is now VITS International

VITS America has changed its name to VITS International to more accurately represent the growing international installation base and company presence in the world. “We thought the timing was right to change our name to VITS International”, says Deirdre Ryder, Managing Director of VITS International. “Over the past several years we have really focused on expanding our customer base internationally and are proud to say that in the past year alone we have installed equipment in 5 countries where we previously had no installations. With Drupa upon us, what better time to announce to an international customer base that VITS America is now VITS International.”
Company operations and manufacturing will remain in its current location of Blauvelt, NY.
