SISTRADE PRESENTS THE LATEST NEWS OF SISTRADE® PRINT AT DRUPA 2012

SISTRADE participation in the coming edition of DRUPA focuses on strengthening its presence in the international market as a supplier of ERP Software for printing and packaging industry, and presenting the most recent version of Sistrade® Print, which includes features such as:
• Augmented Reality is a tool applied to Packaging, enabling the virtual visualization of the final work. This tool is used when sending an estimate for the production of a package, in which, besides the usual technical information, the customer of the printing company receives the content that, by using a simple webcam, can show the requested package in three-dimensional shape, in its final version. The customer of the printing industry that receives this estimate, by using Augmented Reality application provided by SISTRADE, can view the information of the estimated box in 3D, and thus have a better perspective of the final product.
• Plates management in flexography is a complete tool developed for the plate production process, where the new feature allows the management of the plates, definition of the imposition of the plates and at the same time, the stock control of photopolymer plates, as well as other control processes and internal management. The system also generates a specification file for ESKO ARTWORK program, or other flexo cutting machine, thus avoiding the duplication of the work.
• Scheduling presents new features that allow dynamic and multi-user planning in a simple and effective way. For the companies where the internal scheduling task is carried out by a team of individuals, the scheduling is provided with multi-user functionality, thereby allowing the production planning to be made by more than one user. The planning of employees is the second perspective allowing the user to inter-cross the scheduled job order operations with the employees.
• Sistrade® CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is, nowadays, an essential tool for a company that seeks to raise the quality parameters in terms of customer relationship. In addition to the focus on already existing customers, Sistrade® CRM also provides companies with the tools for market research, allowing the management of potential customers, of new offers and their outcomes, and studying the reasons that led to the approval or rejection of an offer, therefore implementing a continuous improvement in the sales process.
• The extrusion is undoubtedly a complex process that requires advanced technology in terms of machinery and naturally, supported by an information system with data acquisition, makes production more efficient and of higher quality. Through the technological solution Sistrade®, verticalised for this production process, it is possible to get the exact consumption of the raw materials, in particular, to know the consumption in kilos of PP, PE, colorants, accelerators, anti-UV, etc., for a given job order or within a given period of time. It is also possible to calculate in real time the quantities in metres and kilos of produced film. These data can be collected directly by the system without human intervention, given that SISTRADE includes equipment sensing, in order to turn the acquisition of signals as automatic as possible.
• During DRUPA fair, SISTRADE is also going to pay a special attention to security printing area. This particular area includes the production of various works that by their very nature require a different treatment in terms of security, such as printing of credit cards, lottery scratch cards, mobile phone cards, bills, cheques, and other security documents. SISTRADE has an internal security printing development project, the aim of which is to evaluate the manufacture process complexity in order to reflect it more accurately in Sistrade® Print solution. During the fair some experts shall make several presentations related to this subject, which will reveal some different areas of this market niche.

SISTRADE – Software Consulting, S.A., will participate in another issue of DRUPA 2012, which will take place in Dusseldorf, Germany from the 3rd till the 16th of May.

Proempaques Ltda, one of the largest industrial companies in the area of flexible packaging printing in Colombia, Bogota, acquired Portuguese integrated business management system - ERP|MIS Sistrade® Print – for company management.

Proempaques Ltda., is a company with over 35 years of experience, specializing in producing self-adhesive labels and flexible packaging for the food, cosmetics, agrochemical and pharmaceutical industry. The company was looking on the market for the technologically updated solution that would provide the automation of the business processes and internal organization, adjusting to the specific needs.

EKOL OFSET from Turkey implements ERP|MIS Sistrade® Print

EKOL OFSET, founded in 1978, in Turkey, was considered one of 1000 Large Turkish Companies in 1998, and has retained its place on this list to the present day.
In 2007, continuing its steady growth and the need for development and modernization of production, the company moves to the present facilities of about 40000m2, built from scratch and designed to meet the needs of production and logistics that the company activity requires.
Doubling the production capacity and achieving a leading position among the largest and most modernized enterprises, with approximately 350 employees, it was necessary to start consulting the international market in order to find an integrated solution to manage the company. During this process, the company contacted SISTRADE for the presentation of ERP|MIS Sistrade® Print solution, which was finally chosen from a range of about ten alternatives. One of the factors that enabled this option was the issue of language, since Sistrade® Print is a multi-lingual solution, including Turkish among other available languages.

Technical Estimating of Packaging
Using this module it is possible to respond to customers in a timely manner, calculating all the costs associated with the production of different types of products. As 100% configurable module and adjusted to the specific nature of each product is it possible to make technical estimating:
- Packaging:
:: It is possible to estimate according to various ECMA (European Cardboard Manufacturers Association) or FEFCO (European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers) standards or even from specific models developed by the company;
:: All costs are calculated, from the printing machine, inks and varnishes, laminating and gluing, application of die-cutters, folding and gluing of the box, and all auxiliary processes specific to this type of job;
:: Automatic calculation of the imposition, optimizing the plan, taking into consideration the direction of the paper fibre.
- Paper Cups:
:: Description of the printing machine with all its features;
:: Detailed register of all production stages, from production, cutting and assembling of the cup;
:: Definition of production times.

:: Calculation of quantities of paper needed, depending on the type of corrugated cardboard to produce, Single-face, Single Wall or Double Wall and a flute type A, B, C, E or F;

Stock Management and Material Purchases
Given the amount of materials necessary for daily work of the company, it is essential to have effective control of the warehouses and to ensure material requirements on time. Therefore, using the various tools of this module, it is possible to carry out any control of the different types of warehouse - raw materials, auxiliary materials or finished product, recording all movements of materials and allocating them to the jobs, having a real time access to permanent inventory.

Production Management and Planning
With the detailed record of job orders, containing all the information of the necessary materials, operations to be performed and their times as well as the resources that will be necessary, so all this information is analysed by planning tools, either MRP (Material Requirement Planning) or CRP (Capacity Requirement Planning), in order to determine what will be necessary and when in order to proceed with the work.
Using SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and SFC (Shop-Floor Control) tools, it is possible to monitor, in real time, the actions that are taking place in the production, through a supervision of all processes registered in the production. PCs are installed at different stages of the production process, these can be touch screens for easy data entry, along with bar code readers used to identify the activities that are going to be developed in each resource and by each employee.

Quality Control
It allows the products/services of the company to conform to the specifications, either before execution, or during and after production. By carrying out various tests and experiments and registration of results, it is possible to proceed with the processing and, if necessary, register non-conformities, to act in accordance undertaking immediate, corrective and preventive actions.

Treasury and Accounting
In order to control current accounts with the different entities with which the company maintains commercial relations, whether customers or suppliers, the Treasury module assumes primary importance as it allows having access to all the information relating to the due amounts and proceed with the settlement, contributing to an effective control of payments/receipts made or the ones that should be made.
EKOL OFSET, adopting the European accounting standards, can use all the features of Sistrade® Print accounting module, to make accounting records of the company, completing all movements, from launches to settling, and the availability of various reports and consultations of various accounting items from balance sheets, analysis of results or statements.
