Modulare Automatisierungslösungen für die Druckindustrie
Komplettpakete und modulare Automatisierungslösungen
für Druckmaschinen stehen im Mittelpunkt des Auftritts von Siemens Drive Technologies auf der Fachmesse drupa 2012 in Düsseldorf. Modulare Software und durchgängige Kommunikationslösungen verkürzen für den Maschinen-hersteller die so genannte Time to Market und bieten für den Anwender eine hohe Investitionssicherheit. Die
Integration von Registerregelungen in den Antrieb ist
Voraussetzung für hohe Druckqualität, schnelle
Einrichtzeiten und minimalen Makulaturanteil.
Schwerpunkte des Siemens-Präsentationsspektrums auf der diesjährigen Fachmesse drupa bilden Systempakete
auf Basis der Antriebsfamilie Sinamics sowie
Motion Control-Lösungen mit Profinet. Profinet mit IRT
eignet sich als durchgängige Kommunikationslösung
besonders für Vielachs-Anwendungen, etwa bei Illustrations-und Zeitungs-Rollenoffset-Druckmaschinen
sowie in der Druckweiterverarbeitung. Um den produktiven Ablauf zum Beispiel in einer Zeitungs- Rollenoffsetmaschine mit vier Druckwerken, Falzaufbau und Falzapparat sicherzustellen, werden mehr als 50 Achsen koordiniert. Die Achsen sind auf Achsverbände mit Simotion D und Sinamics verteilt und kommunizieren über Profinet IRT MRPD (Media Redundancy Planned Duplication). Profinet IRT mit MRPD basiert auf einer ringförmigen Bustopologie. Der Redundanzmanager ist ein Scalance-Switch X204 IRT, der bei einer Störung der Kommunikation intern stoß- und unterbrechungsfrei zwei im Normalbetrieb getrennte Ports miteinander verbindet und so eine alternative Linienstruktur aufbaut. Neben der Echtzeitkommunikation wird Profinet auch für IT-Aufgaben genutzt, wie zum Bedienen und Beobachten oder zur Diagnose. Dabei wird auf den in Simotion D integrierten
OPC-XML-Server zugegriffen, der prozessnahe und
Antriebsdaten für ein Antriebsdiagnosesystem auf Basis Simatic WIN CC bereitstellt. Mit Sinamics S120 steht für die Druckindustrie eine Umrichterfamilie sowohl für hoch performante Einzelachsanwendungen als auch Mehrachsanwendungen zur Verfügung. Der Umrichter eignet sich auch für Erweiterungen bei Druckmaschinen mit großer Leistung. Durch den modularen Aufbau kann der Sinamics S120 AC auch in Mehrachsanwendungen eingesetzt und so für Gleichlauf- und Motion-Control-Anwendungen genutzt werden. Das Antriebssystem Sinamics S120 verfügt über integrierte Sicherheitsfunktionen. Diese unterstützen die einfache und normenkonforme Umsetzung innovativer Sicherheitskonzepte. Mit den integrierten Sicherheitsfunktionen kann ein wirksamer Personen- und Maschinenschutz praxisgerecht realisiert werden. Die Safety-Funktionen Safe Torque Off, Safe Stop 1, Safe Stop 2, Safe Operating Stop, Safe Brake Control, Safely-Limited Speed und Safe Speed Monitor sind im Antriebssystem komplett integriert. Energieeffizienz und Rückspeisefähigkeit stehen derzeit im Mittelpunkt des Interesses. In der Druckindustrie ist diese Technologie bei großen Leistungen bereits etabliert. Mit Smart Infeed und Active Infeed zeigt Siemens DT zwei Rückspeisekonzepte für die Antriebsfamilie Sinamics. Der Strom aus dem generatorischen Betrieb von Antrieben wird in das Netz zurückgespeist. Je nach den Anforderungen einer Applikation und ihrer Umgebung ist Smart Infeed als Standardlösung oder Active Infeed für besonders hohe Anlagenverfügbarkeit und Netzqualität geeignet.
Eine leistungsfähige Registerregelung steigert den Wert jeder Druckmaschine. Je einfacher, schneller und genauer der Passer beim Mehrfarbendruck erreicht wird, desto weniger Makulatur fällt an und umso produktiver kann gedruckt werden. Damit steigt auch die Druckqualität. Registerregelungen sind direkt in das Motion Control-System Simotion integriert. Der direkte Zugriff auf die Prozessdaten und der unmittelbare Eingriff auf die Anriebs-Sollwertstruktur führen zu einer exakten und effektiven Registerreglung mit höchster Dynamik.

Modular automation solutions for the printing industry
Complete packages and modular automation solu¬tions for printing machines are the focus of
Siemens Drive Technologies‘ presentation at the drupa 2012 Trade Show in Düsseldorf. Modular software and integrated communications solutions reduce the time to market for machine manufacturers and offer users a high level of investment protection. The integration of drive register controls is a
prerequi¬site for high printing quality, low setup times and minimal wastage.
The focus of Siemens‘ presentation spectrum at this year‘s drupa Trade Show is on system packages based on the Sinamics drive family, as well as Motion Control solutions with Profinet. Profinet with IRT is suitable as an integrated communications solution, particularly for multi-axis applications such as commercial and newspa¬per offset printing presses and print finishing. More than 50 axes have to be coordinated to maintain the production process in a newspaper rotary-offset machine with four printing units, folding superstruc¬tures and a folder. The axes are distributed over the axis groups with Simotion D and Sinamics systems and communicate via Profinet IRT MRPD (Media Redundancy Planned Duplication). Profinet IRT with MRPD is based on a ring-shaped bus topology. The redundancy mana¬ger is an X204 IRT scalance switch, two ports that are separated during normal operation. In case of an com¬munication error these two ports will be interruption-free combined to build up an alternative line topology. Besides real-time communication, Profinet is also used for IT tasks, such as press-control, monitoring, or diag¬nostics. This is done by accessing the OPC-XML server integrated in Simotion D. This server provides process information and drive data using Simatic Win CC.
Sinamics S120 provides the printing industry with a family of converters suitable for high performance single and multi-axis applications. The con verter is also suitable when expanding printing presses with high power. Its modular design also allo ws the Sinamics S120 AC to be used in multi-axis applications, and so too for synchronous and motion control tasks. The Sinamics S120 drive system includes integrated sa¬fety functions. These support in a simple way standard-compliant implementation of innovative safety con¬cepts. The integrated safety functions provide highly effective, application-oriented protection for personnel and machinery. The safety functions Safe Torque Off, Safe Stop 1, Safe Stop 2, Safe Operating Stop, Safe Brake Control, Safely-Limited Speed and Safe Speed Monitor are fully integrated into the drive system.
Energy efficiency and regenerative feedback capability are currently focal issues. This technology has already become established practice for high-performance applications in the printing industry. Smart Infeed and Active Infeed are two of the regenerative feedback con¬cepts from Siemens for the Sinamics drive family. The current from regenerative drive operation is fed back into the supply system. Depending on the needs and environment of a specific application, Smart Infeed is the ideal standard solution, while Active Infeed is best suited for systems with high availability and line quality requirements.
High-performance register controls enhance the value of any printing machine. The more simply, quickly and accurately color registration can be achieved in full-color printing, the lower the waste levels, the higher the effective printing time and the better the printing quality. Register controls are integrated directly into the Simotion Motion Control system. Having direct access to process data and the ability to immediately intervene at drive-setpoint level results in the utmost dynamism for precise and effective register control.
