6to5-Scan is used to record flat, structured surfaces or small objects in separate scanning processes:

a. Color scan without form contrast

b. 3D scan, i.e. only the profile of the surface or object

This makes it possible to make an exact record of the original and to add both data sets (color and form matrices) together to create 6D data. Special algorithms are then used to create a 3D effect for the virtual object by adding gradations to the image to be printed on a flat substrate. This ensures the perfect combination of illumination and form.
