P-FLEX is a fully automatic machine for film and dry embossing. It has an automatic feed and discharge system (from and into stacks). Output ranges from 1'200–1'800 products per hour. The machine can process both bound products as well as semi-finished products such as book covers. The maximum embossing area encompasses 320 x 220 mm.

The embossing process takes place with high load accuracy by means of an electric servo drive with a range from 0.2–7.5 tons. Various product heights (e.g. induced by variable weight distribution in warehousing) thereby have only the slightest influence on embossing quality. An integrated digital controller enables precise temperature control of the stereotype.

An additional highlight of this machine is the fully automatic embossing die exchange (up to dimensions of 120 x 120 mm). The mobile embossing head retrieves the dies automatically from the pre-heated die magazine. The machine’s idle time is limited to a minimum. For larger embossing dies, a semiautomatic, rapid-exchange mechanism is built in.

P-FLEX will make its first public appearance at the DRUPA from 3–16 May 2012.

Fully automatic processing line to confect wall calendars

The BLOFIX is a fully automatic processing line to glue blocks on a cardboard or to attach headboards to calendars. The BLOFIX glues up to four calendar blocks on a single cardboard with a double glue system. The machine can attach headboards to calendars with a stitching device.
