Precision Magnesium Engraving Plates are light weight, fast etching, and environmentally-friendly. They are used for a variety of applications including foil stamping, embossing, thermal dies, flexography, plaques, awards, rubber stamp masters, fabric and leather embossing.

Magnesium Elektron supplies developer solutions specially formulated for each photoresist coating offered on our precision made photoengraving plates. Products include a solvent-based developer for our traditional Red Top Magnesium Photoengraving Plates, as well as the aqueous-based developers tailored to AQ-BLU Magnesium, Hydro-Coat Copper, Zinc and Brass, and POS-E Conta Copper and Zinc.

Photoengraving plates and CNC Engraving Plates are used in a variety of markets and applications.

EMBOSSING: Embossing employs magnesium, brass or copper dies to create a relief image on a variety of substrates including paper, leather, textiles and wood. Combining the metal die with a counter die under heat and pressure, the end result is a single, multi-level, or three dimensional raised image. Elaborate three dimensional designs come to life through CNC or hand-engraving.
