Our patented Flexico V5 was the first of its kind in the world to provide "hands-free" plate mounting using a "rotating" rise and fall plate table and a holding clamp so that the printer does not have to hold the plate in his hands throughout the mounting process (which is the traditional way). LED lighting is included along with colour cameras, brilliant targets and TFT monitors which provide the excellent picture quality necessary for perfect registration.

A tape dispenser “adhesive roll holder” is included, along with an integral aluminum machine base, as standard.The adhesive application roller, whereby the pressure from the weighted roller minimizes the risk of creating bubbles/creases underneath the adhesive tape, is available as an optional extra.

It is a very accurate and easy to use machine.

“Jaguar” is Tectonics’ “state-of-the-art” active inspection system and includes a AVT digital, progressive-scan, firewire camera and offers ‘passive’ or ‘active’ inspection, bar & pharmaceutical code verification, colour monitoring using CIE Lab standards to enunciate colour drift and has full “job-store” capability.

As standard, Jaguar can passively monitor print quality and actively monitor colour, on-line at full press-speed, alarming colour drift on tight tolerances.

The tolerances are set by the printer when setting up the job and whilst the job is run, statistical data can be stored on removable media cards or transferred automatically to a company’s factory SPC system where it can be analyzed and used off-line.

Our high speed high accuracy system delivers most responsive system by close-coupling one high resolution camera to each print station. This way, registration errors are detected as soon as they occur and a correction can be applied.
Registration marks are small enough that they can be hidden within a graphical print.
We use our own high precision stepper motors to replace standard bi-directional motors, however, we can interface with an existing system provided that it is responsive enough.
The system can act in either single or double axis control mode to provide the most precise registration.
Cross-press adjustment can be accommodated but would require one system per two print stations.
