Laem System and Eutro Log: the future is now!

The strong partnership between the Italian companies Laem System and Eutro Log will be plain to see at the next Drupa exhibition, where they will share a 210 m² stand for presenting visitors with the factory of the future.

The key to the project is increasing productivity by means of a highly automated system. The stand will feature an example of the final stage of a packaging production facility. A 5-storey automatic warehouse, with an integrated high performance turret slitter rewinder, the revised model RB4-1400 will output finished reels onto a hi-tech robot system able to perform a quality check, label and wrap each reel, palleting them and stocking them

“Although the best slitter rewinder for this production line is the brand new model TR4, which is a fully automatic heavy duty, high performance slitter rewinder with non-stop production,” says Davide Malki, President of Laem System “we have decided to take our RB4 slitter rewinder to the trade fair. Despite its reduced automation, it has greater flexibility and an excellent quality/price ratio so that visitors to our stand will see that there’s no need to wait, the future is already here and available to all Laem System essentially provides automation systems able to interface with existing systems, or supply a versatile slitter rewinder like RB4 for all converters who still want optimum in-house productivity at a reasonable cost”.

The new TR4 features will be displayed on the giant plasma screen, with demonstrations taking place twice a day.
