Kona is a high-performance cutting plotter series designed for professional sign cutting applications.

Enabling the finest cutting quality with excellent tracking, the Mutoh Kona cutting plotters are available in three widths, i.e. Kona 760 (39”), Kona 1400 (64”) and Kona 1650 (74”), offering a cutting range of respectively 30”, 55” and 64”.

The affordable Kona cutters are equipped with several new features promoting extra user comfort, such as a full-colour 3.5” LCD touch screen, a newly designed automatic sheet-off mechanism, as well as a “dual” roll support system. Media support rollers allow handling of regular vinyl. A second roll-off system is available for contactless handling of pre-printed rolls. This will avoid damage to freshly printed rolls.

For printing on both open and closed structure fabric, Mutoh will display the new ValueJet TD series printers. The new 8 channel ValueJet TD printers incor-porate two new 1440 nozzle piezo drop-on-demand print heads.

The ValueJet TD printers allow typical production speeds up to 24 m²/h and top speeds up to 41 m²/h. This makes the machines suited for volume printing as well as for customized one-off projects.

The printers utilize Mutoh’s worry-free water-based direct disperse inks for direct-to-fabric printing. They can also be used with Mutoh’s high-speed dye sublimation inks for transfer paper printing.

The recently launched ValueJet 1324 – 54” printer is targeted at the sign & display market and is suited for the production of long-term outdoor posters, signs and banners, backlit signage, POS displays, vehicle graphics as well as high quality durable prints for indoor use.

Incorporating new print head technology and Mutoh’s award-winning Intelligent Interweaving print technology, the printer delivers typical production speeds up to 11.8 m²/h and top speeds up to 27.9 m²/h.

Targeted at the sublimation transfer market, the ValueJet 1604W four-colour dye sublimation printer delivers high quality graphics for businesses focusing on the production of banners, flags, soft signage, interior decoration, curtains, bed linen, sportswear, etc….

Utilising Mutoh’s high speed dye sublimation inks, the printer offers speeds up to 17.4 m²/h at 720 x 720 dpi.

The recently launched ValueJet 1624 – 64” printer is targeted at the sign & display market and is suited for the production of long-term outdoor posters, signs and banners, backlit signage, POS displays, vehicle graphics as well as high quality durable prints for indoor use.

Incorporating new print head technology and Mutoh’s award-winning Intelligent Interweaving print technology, the printer delivers typical production speeds up to 14.5 m²/h and top speeds up to 29 m²/h.

The new ValueJet 1638 model, offering sellable production quality speeds up to 36 m²/h at 720 x 720 dpi, is targeted at the sign & display market. The printer utilizes Mutoh Eco Ultra CMYK inks and will address the needs of PSPs and commercial printers looking for a high volume printing solution.

The machine prints directly onto a wide range of uncoated and coated substrates. The printer includes three individually controlled heating elements below the print platen for media pre-heating, ink fixation and drying. Using Mutoh Eco Ultra inks (CMYK – 220 & 440 ml cassettes), which doesn’t spread any harmful VOCs in working environment, printed outputs are UV and water-resistant for up to 3 years outdoors.

The new VJ-1638 printer, featuring a staggered dual head setup, incorporates Mutoh’s award-winning Intelligent Interweaving print technology which guarantees predictable and repeatable output quality. The VJ-1638 printer also features a high level of operator comfort and print production efficiency, thanks to a newly designed keyboard, an automatic sheet off system and a tiltable ink cassette holder which saves space and enables loading of different ink volumes.

The ValueJet 1638W model was designed specifically for the sublimation transfer market. The printer uses Mutoh water-based direct disperse inks and will deliver production speeds up to 65 m²/h. The machine supports all typical dye sublimation transfer paper weights and is able to print at high speed on the transfer papers from 66 g/m² to 150 g/m².
