There is no additional direct waste of paper at either start-up or at the end of the run as the system requires only the normal amount of waste paper needed during these start up or slow down sequences. During the run, it is very easy to wash at any time for which approximately 50 copies are required for a cleaning sequence.

During the same cleaning sequence, the TECHNOCLEANER also cleans the web path rollers and dampening rollers. A specific cleaning program will also wash the inking rollers and the web width changes.

The washing sequences are very short according to commissioning dryer FID safety tests. They are carried out automatically at the flying splice at normal speed with 200 copies waste or by the operator at the end of run and at start up, at low speed with no additional waste.

During the same cleaning sequence, the TECHNOCLEANER cleans the dampening rollers.

The system is also installed as a second washer in order to reduce paper waste, consumable and maintenance costs due to classical cloth and brush systems (opti concept).

Located after the reelstand and before the first unit, this very compact equipment includes four principal technologies, used on both sides of the web, and allowing the very efficient removal of paper dust from the web.

PAPERCLEANER is designed in the classical standard hexagon or in two separate units following the original web up.
It is disengaged during flying splice sequences, and fully connected to the press.
