Computer-To-Plate (CTP) solution – providing a cost-effective, process-less, offset quality, print platesetter using existing Epson's standard small to mid-size Inkjet printers.VIM Technologties Ltd. has authorized the RIP softwares of ColorGate and EFI to work with our JT CTP.

VIM Technologies will introduce and demonstrate the latest version of its JT range of inkjet imaged offset metal plates at the Drupa.
This revised plate material will no longer need to be baked after imaging, which means it can be used immediately on-press for run up to 5,000 impressions. If longer runs are needed they can be baked at 130 Deg C for two minutes, after which they can be used for up to 20,000 impressions.

The JT plates are processless, with no chemicals or waste: the only consumables are the plate materials themselves and the Epson inks. The screening can be standard AM, FM or EDS.

The metal  plate materials are available in a range of sizes and gauges to fit a wide variety of presses up to b2/4-up formats, with standard dampening and blankets. 

The JT-BL plates are imaged by Epson Stylus Pro inkjet printers with standard Epson UltraChrome K3 or HDR pigment inks. The plates can be used with the Stylus Pro 4880/4990 (17 inch), 7880/7900 (24 inch) and 9890/9900 (44 inch width) printers. Any of the ink colours can be used to image the plate.
