The Cheksafe Finishing System is a robust piece of equipment designed for high volume check book and booklet production finishing. It takes collated folios and cuts; it stitches, staples and binds these folios into check books, payment books and other similar products up to 105 mm (4.13 inches) deep, up to 280 mm ( 11.02 inches) wide and up to 14 mm (.55 inches) in thickness.

Specifications for Guillotine Module

The guillotine accepts a folio of multiple books to the specifications detailed for the Stitcher-Binder. Throughput of up to 2,000 books per hour is based on a 4-book folio with a maximum length of 17 inches.

The guillotine cutting mechanism consists of an enhanced pneumatic cylinder which provides superior reliability and performance. The cut of the guillotine is perpendicular to the bind within +/– 0.3° and the squareness of the cut is within 0.02" (0.5mm).

Specifications for Stacker Module

The programmable Stacker Module accepts, stacks and conveys books finished on the Foliotronic® Plus system. It accepts the complete range of folio sizes that can be from two to ten deep onto a pallet. The completed pallet of books can then be conveyed downstream to additional finishing equipment.
