That is why Prisco has hundreds of formulas to meet every cleaning need for conventional oil-based, hybrid or energy-curable ink applications. Many of our products have been tested, approved or certified by leading manufacturers of presses, automatic roller and blanket cleaning systems (e.g. Baldwin) and industry organizations (e.g. FOGRA).

Choosing a solvent, that is strong enough to easily dissolve ink and keep your press clean, yet is still able to maximize the life of your press and automatic wash system components is extremely important. Water Treatment:
PriscoTech MiniFlo and AquaFlo II systems generate “process water” designed specifically for mixing with fountain concentrates. Process water is stable, consistent and supports the critical interactions between your fountain solution, inks, and paper on your press. Our Twin Tank Water Softening systems prepare water with reduced alkalinity for pressroom and plate processiing applications.

Fountain Solution Recycling:
Various FloClear configurations are available from Prisco that extend fountain solution life, reduce concentrate usage and maximize printing quality. FloClear is intended for use with central tank chiller/recirculation systems. Fresh, clean fountain solution maintained by FloClear, can more efficiently carry away the contaminants from the press. The cleaner the fountain solution, the cleaner the dampening system and the cleaner the blankets and plates, all of which results in improved color consistency and press productivity.

Prisco also offers an alternative for use with individual chiller/recirculator units designed for small presses or individual printing units, the Fount-N-Kleer.
