The KAS integra magazine inserter is a magazine inserting machine designed to insert a variety of documents into a magazine or folder cycling at up to 4000 filled items per hour.

Different models are available depending on the size of the items into which the documents are being inserted ranging from 210 x 100 mm to up to 230 x 320 mm.

The magazine feeder will feed up to 7mm thick, with the option to increase this to 10 mm.

The standard insert stations handles items from 180 x 90 mm up to A4, with maximum thickness of 2mm.Touch screen control of station selection and output speed the display screen provides run information and error location. This insert feeder has miss, double and jam detectors.

Output from the folder inserting machine can be delivered into an output conveyor stacker or an on line device can be added such as a polywrapper or envelope insertor.

The integra magazine inserter can be incorporated into an enveloping system from the KAS Mailmaster 465HS or mailwrap polywrapper so that the filled book or folder can pass directly from one machine to another perhaps adding further inserts.

This magazine inserting machine can be used simply as a multiple feeder system either as a standalone system or in-line with document equipment from other manufacturers for almost any polywrapper on the market whether one chooses the insert the material inside the magazine first or not.

There is an on line position to allow further equipment to be added upstream.

The KASFOLD range of Bookletmakers is designed to meet the requirements of the demanding user to provide years of service.

Standard features of the KASFOLD include automatic operation and double side jogging.

There is a choice of models with either flat clench stapling or the safety staple formed in an anvil.

The KASFOLD 5000HCS features 5000 capacity staple cassettes as well as 5 stapling positions, including one for corner stapling.

The KASFOLD 3000 has 4 stapling positions and the option of loop stapling.

Collator Interface

The KAS conveyor jogger interface conveys collated sheets from a desktop collator to the bookletmaker and jogs before the stapling and folding sequence.

Trimmer

When making booklets a trimmer can be used with the KASFOLD. Each stapled and folded booklet is individually clamped and held flat before a single knife removes the feathered edge of the booklet.

The Mailmaster 465 High Speed Envelope inserter handles DL to C4 envelopes, inserting at speeds of up to 6000 completed envelopes per hour.

It combines a unique design with proven technology, backed by over 50 years experience in mailing.

Designed and manufactured in Britain, this comprehensive modular enveloping system offers flexibility, durability and ease of set up.Insert stations can handle a wide variety of material including single sheets, card, reply envelopes, pre-loaded items, stapled sets, cd's and book.

It is possible to pre-select the number of items fed from an insert station, and have the feed switch automatically from one station to another when it runs low.

Fast Sheet Feeders can feed, accumulate and insert flat for C4, or fold and insert for DL and C5 according to codes read on the documents.

Our camera reading system adds more flexibilty as it reads OMR, 1D and 2D barcodes in either orientation on the page. Jobs can be pre-programmed thus minimising set up time.

Our reading technology facilitates batching the prime document, selection of inserts, merging and matching of two or more streams of personalsied documentation, diverting of filled envelopes before sealing, envelope marking, document tracking and integrity checking.

An important feature of the Mailmaster 465HS is the remarkably quick changeover from one job to another that is possible, even to go from DL to C4.

A choice of touch screens are available that controls the machine operation. The screens give station selection, speed control, re-settable counter, help pages, output speed and error location display.

Job control and reporting software is available which provides further on screen run information, and facilitates job control, document tracking, data storage and reporting.
