In the modern offset and web-offset systems the rollers’ covering plays an important role in the qualitative output and makes the system more economical to run. TecnoRulli® has prepared and tested ideal coverings for the most demanding printers according to the most severe conditions. The formulation of the compounds has allowed us to obtain a product which has a high resistance to heat, to solvents and to abrasion. The product has a dimensional stability, a superficial elasticity and softness together with a guarantee of optimal qualitative and long lasting performance.

SAK S

The new compounds of the SAK S based on top quality acrylo-nitric polymers offer excellent features of chemical resistance and duration in the most demanding working conditions also with HYBRID INKS use. The latest original formulas, prepared by the technical staff in the chemical and physics laboratory, were created by using an advanced study technology allowing excellent characteristics to be obtained: excellent resistance to abrasion; low heat development; excellent surface softness; ease of cleaning; excellent elasticity; good resistance to cracks and age. The new SAK S has been tested over a long period with the products of the new ecological series: inks, additives and solventless cleaning products (V.C.A.), guaranteeing the Customer the purchase of a state-of-the-art covering which is ready for the future.

SAK M

SAK M compounds have been formulated for alternative use of both conventional oil inksand UV drying inks. High level of print performance, along with excellent chemical resistance to the aggressive effects of UV products.
The duration and the printing quality of the SAK M rollers is the same as that obtained with the specific compounds for conventional or U.V. inks.
The new SAK M series does not limit the use of U.V. inks.

M 41 for Inking and Distributor rollers

Offset with both conventional and U.V.-cured inks: SAK M also for HYBRID INKS

SAK M compounds satisfy the demands of printers also using U.V. inks in plants normally used for offset printing with conventional inks. The duration and the quality yield of rollers covered in SAK M is comparable with that obtained with specific compounds for conventional inks alone or U.V. inks alone. The new SAK M series does not limit the use of U.V. inks.

U.V. Offset Tecnolast V

For printing with U.V. drying inks, Tecnorulli has reworked the TECNOLAST V compounds, increasing their resistance to all aggressive products used in the lines that include U.V. drying plants and improving dynamic yield, distribution capacity, inking properties and dimensional stability. All the coverings of the series are highly sensitive to conventional inks and their solvents to such an extent that they may not be used even for a short period.

Flexo, Converting and Industrial Coverings

Over the years, the printing on flexo has been the field that has the greatest technological propulsion and a certain qualitative increase.
The major machine’s producers and the raw materials suppliers have been united by a common effort to give to the printer a finished high quality product and ecologically appropriate, in order to anticipate the market requirement.
The elastomeric for inking roller has had a significant evolution to meet the chemical characteristic changings of new inks and the increasing pressing needs of uniformity and quality of print.
To cover all needs, from solid area with high quantity of ink, to the halftone printing with controlled metering, Tecnorulli has production in new series of compounds available in hardnesses from 45 to 80 Shore A.
The grinding and finishing process is made on new high-tech machines that guarantee high levels of precision in dimensional measures and surface.
Tecnorulli’ s compounds have been studied for ensure to printers a long lifetime and good efficiency in order to reduce costs resulting from stops and the remaking of the coating itself.
Each phase of the working is done inside the Company for being able to guarantee high qualitative standards, flexibility and an elevated service to the Customers.
The corrugated boards printing is a very important field of the flexo section. The used inks are with water (exceptionally solvent).
Tecnorulli’ s coverings for the ink vibrating rollers guarantee an optimal resistance to the inks also with the presence of antifoaming additive.
The range of compounds available includes coatings for rollers with high abrasion resistance available in different hardnesses.
For this type of rollers Tecnorulli’ s laboratories have been developed special double coatings too; the lower coating with a soft compound with a great elasticity and compressibility, and the top coating with a harder compound very resistant to wear.
On these rollers all kind of surface grooves are performed by CNC machines.

Polyurethane Tecnosint H compound are designed for coating rollers and cylinders in mechanical demanding applications, with hardnesses ranging from 60 ShA to 95 ShA.
Thanks to the partnership with a well-known research lab, these investments have a combination of properties that makes them very various and particularly suited to the qualitative requirements of many industrial sectors.
The serie Tecnosint H good mechanical characteristics (tensile strength, abrasion resistance and tear) to the excellent resistance to mineral oils, as well as a good elasticity in high temperature (80-85°C) and low temperatures (-30°C).

The coating available are:
Tecnosint H60, H65, H70, H75, H80, H85, H90, H92 and H95.
