Description

The RAVICOLOR is a complete automatic system for ink feeding, component blending and viscosity regulation for gravure publication presses. The RAVICOLOR is able to maintain the correct level in the tank with a precise blend of the different components, based on volumetric flow-meters placed on the ink lines; the viscosities are also maintained at the desired preset values. These features result into an automatic filling and regulating system that will run independently for the entire production. RAVICOLOR is hence a combination of the former RATIOCOLOR (ink blending only) and VISCOLOR (viscosity management).

Description

The VISCOLOR 2500 is a viscosity measurement and control unit system. The measurement units are placed at the printing units (in the ex-area). This system has a decentralized and a centralized operation. The decentralized operation is built in an electronic box at each printing unit. It consist all the electronic boards, amplifiers and solenoid valves. On each unit there is a LCD - display with function keys, were you can manage the system. From here you can change all modes and parameters. In this display you have a stop watch. From the centralized supervisor at the main desk you can also manage the system. Dependent from the numbers of printing units of the machine, you can manage from 2 to 14 units centralized from the supervisor, or each unit from the LCD - display at the printing unit. This system is used by rotogravure machines with more than 1 ink serie and more than one solvent. You can give different parameters for each ink serie and each ink in the ink serie. The system works with an interpolation curve.

Description

The VISCOSOLCOLOR is a combination of inline viscosity control system and special mixing solvents device. All necessary dilutions performed by the viscosity control system a based on a specific recipe of different solvents, allowing the printer to choose the best setup for any desired configuration. The system is totally automatic, and once the preset values are inserted, it will maintain the printing condition for the entire job.

The VISCOSOLCOLOR is based on the most enhanced VISCOLOR system, allowing all advanced functions such as job memorization, color database for different ink families, solvent mixture preset memorization.
The VISCOSOLCOLOR can be enhanced by adding special mixing stations that will deliver requested quantities of solvent mixtures used for pre-dilutions of inks and varnishes.
The VISCOSOLCOLOR is largely used in the packaging industry, where high color standards are requested.

Models

The VISCOSOLCOLOR can be delivered in two main versions, time controlled or volume controlled. Time controlled system will perform the solvents mixture based on different time intervals of dilution, while volume controlled systems will use volumetric flow-meters for a precise solvents mixture.
Time controlled system are used when the mixture tolerances are not that strict, while volume controlled is the very precise and accurate. Volume controlled system will also compensate on any dilution errors or system delays, bringing the final mixture exactly as preset by the printer.
