The evolution of the company philosophy and experience in the converting field have brought Martignoni Electronics Inc. to further develop their product until the creation of NEW-PLASTIMETAL..
New series of unilateral units PLASTIMETAL, called MTS1 and MST2 (Modular System treater 1 and 2) are the evolution of previous treatments. It is designed for all major converting applications, in addition to being applied on laminating, coating, flexo, rotogravure machines. Due to their particular strength this new unit can be (on request) equipped as a pull roll stand on the customer’s line.
It is an extremely versatile apparatus which, while maintaining the same structure, can have accessories added to it; aluminium blade electrodes with roll coated with silicone sleeves, or ceramic electrodes with ceramic roll depending on whether the materials are exclusively plastic or conductive materials.

The two sides unit called COROFLEX, with pneumatically operated cylinders, has been conceived to improve and increase production processes and it is suitable for extrusion. The unit is connected to generators with IGBT, 30 kHz work frequency, high performance modules. E.C. certification.

Available power is between 3kVa and 18kVa.
Tables between 1500 mm and 2500 mm.
Cylinders diameter 120 mm.
5/7 Multiple-discharge points, aluminium electrodes in function of the power density required by any line or material.

Treatment widths from 400 mm to 1500 mm
Treater station on two sides with cylinder diam’s 80 mm. Individual electrodes with n.2 discharges on each cylinder.

Technical Data
No danger of electrical shock to the operator, the high frequency discharge crosses the silicon rubber cylinders, the electrodes are grounded (earthed). Cowl for the exhausting of the ozone, complete with fan. Door protected by safety microswitch. Doors with key lock.
Send back cylinder with proximity sensor, in case of missed passage of the film, the generator switches off, signaling the interruption.
Outside handling electrodes bar.
