At Drupa 2012, Lead Lasers B.V. will present “FlexoStar” and “FlexoStar MINI”, their unique high power direct laser systems for production of high resolution Flexo printing sleeves and plates.

Specifically suited for Flexible Packaging, the Lead Lasers FlexoStar, is a complete package for digital sleeve or plate making, for high speed wide web flexo printing. The ability of FlexoStar to engrave either continuous sleeves, or flexo plates-on-sleeves, gives flexo printers the opportunity to optimise quality and pre-press cost. Automatic plate calibrations, sleeve measurements and anilox cleaning, completes the package for the busy flexo printer.

Lead’s sister company Laser Dot B.V. will demonstrate their Plate-on-sleeve process, for the formation of perfectly registered flexo plates, produced In-the-round, without precision mounting. Laser Dot will also demonstrate their unique technologies of Perfect PI and Perfect Balance, enabling printing sleeves to be made with perfect concentricity and dynamic balance.

Finally with FlexoStar MINI, Lead can provide printers with a complete package of digital imaging for a wide variety of printing forms for Flexo, Letterpress, Dry-Offset and screen printing, all using a single imaging system.
