Established in 1963 thanks to the enterprising initiative of its founder, Angelo Bartesaghi, in a territorial context that is particularly dynamic and specialized like the Lecco metalmechanic District, OMET s.r.l. is initially born as a company manufacturing machinery for special jobs and in particular to assemble mechanical components.
But after a short while, i.e. already at the end of the Sixties, OMET turns itself towards its own market specialization with decision, starting to design and build the first machines to produce paper napkins and labels.
It is the beginning of a way to a gradual and progressive growth that takes OMET to conquer a first-rank place on an international level in the field. A prestige result, outcome of the constant skill of OMET to be ahead of times, thanks to a deep knowledge of the markets and the needs of the users of its plants, the evolution of printing technologies and the care for the quality of the product offered in a very wide range of modular solutions.

The headquarter
Dislocated on a surface of approximately 8 thousand square meters distributed between 2 different complexes, the headquarter of OMET company is in Lecco, in North of Lombardy, in an area among the most dynamic and lively from the business point of view in the whole country, located at a very short distance from Milan.
Machine Business division has its headquarter in new offices of
Via Monsignor Polvara, location of the administration and commercial offices, the technical and design offices, the planning and production-management department, the production departments, the warehouse and the assembly and service department of the Machine Division.
In Via Caduti Lecchesi a Fossoli are located the offices and production departments of the Bearing Division
