With the founding of the company in the year 1892, Johann Friedrich Gietz laid the foundation stone of this traditional Swiss family-owned business. In the meantime, the 4th and 5th generation have taken over the management.

It has become almost a family tradition that each Gietz generation develops a new machine model. Their researchers and developers ensure that the latest findings from the global user community and from Gietz‘own research flow continuously into the different machine models.
