The Morgana Systems stand at Drupa will show what m.d. Quen Baum describes as the “largest-ever range of digital finishing equipment brought together in one place.” The range will include new, patented, UK-made products details of which will be available at a later date.
The equipment on display will vary from the simplest, entry level creasing products up to highly sophisticated, multi-tasking systems offering a range of digital finishing capabilities in a single unit. Where relevant, equipment will all be JDF compatible and variable data compliant.
At Drupa 2000, Morgana launched the AutoCreaser, a product that has since become by far the world’s best-selling creaser. The latest version of this product, The AutoCreaser Pro range, controlled by the latest SmartScreen, will continue to attract visitors as part of a comprehensive range of upgradeable creasing options available to customers. Folders specially designed for the on-demand market – such as the DocuFold Pro and Major – will also be on show, together with bookletmaking, perfect binding creasing and folding. Namely, the DigiFold Pro, bringing creasing and folding to a new level. The CardXtra Plus will be a highlight with the ability to crease, slit and cut. This highly flexible machine can cut and crease a wide variety of stocks and sizes.
Morgana’s export sales have grown dramatically in recent years and the company expects to welcome representatives from all its many overseas dealers and distributors during the show. “We will be showcasing everything that is best in digital finishing”, says Quen Baum, “and we are looking to Drupa to provide the impetus for a further rapid expansion of our overseas dealer network.”
