History

Tailored Solutions, Inc. is a software solutions company specializing in automated job management software systems for the printing industry. Ken Meinhardt and Dave Porter founded the company in 1993 and both remain active in the business. Tailored Solutions, Inc. develops Label Traxx™, a job management system for flexographic and digital label printers.

Label Traxx is cross-platform, running on both Macintosh and Windows operating systems. The client/server database, designed in the latest version of 4th Dimension from 4D, Inc., features a graphical user interface design that makes the system easy to install and operate. It is one of several successful, growing businesses located in the Milwaukee County Research Park Technology Innovation Center. Because of the many technology-based companies also located in the building, Tailored Solutions has access to cutting edge technology, including the most current hardware and software solutions available to consumers.

Distribution

In North America, Latin America, and Europe, Tailored Solutions sells directly to printers, thus providing the close communication so critical in the effective use of software. Trained agents support customers in Australia.

Customer Base

More than 400 label and commercial printers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and the Caribbean rely on Label Traxx to manage and monitor their businesses. The company recently expanded sales efforts to include a Latin America office. The typical Label Traxx customer has more than 20 employees, and seeks to control and analyze business functions as a means of becoming more efficient and profitable.
